Labour Party to pay N100,000 minimum wage


The Labour Party has given indications that the present minimum wage will be increased if given the electoral mandate in next year presidential election.
The party is considering between N80,000 to N100, 000 as the new minimum wage.
The position of the party was spelt out today by its deputy national chairman Mr Ayo Olorufemi while speaking on Channel Television monitored in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The Labour Party chieftain argued that the current minimum wage was meaningless, adding that Nigerians ought to receive dignified wages going by the wealth of the nation.
