The Pond News has authoritatively confirmed that the Labour Party logo is not on ballot papers to be used in tomorrow elections in Lagos and Ondo states.
In less than twenty hours to the conduct of the presidential and national assembly elections, claims and counter claims are flying over the media space whether the Labour Party logo is on the ballot paper or not.
A viral video by the chairman of Labour Party in Lagos alleged that the name and symbol of his party were not on the ballot paper.
He therefore called on INEC to correct the mistake or postpone the election.
But in a swift reaction INEC said it was not aware if any political party name or logo was omitted.
Speaking on Arise TV monitored in Ibrede, Delta State, Mr Victor Aluko, INEC director of voter education and publicity described the Labour Party claim as baseless.
The Pond News understands that it is a weighty allegations and that in the interest of free and fair election, I NEC chairman ,Prof Mamood Yakubu should speak on the matter.
