Journalists in Delta State have lost a rare gem and a veteran, Comrade Henry Iloba.
Iloba worked in the national orientation agency and retired as deputy director.
He was also the chairman of the Federal Information chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
In a statement signed by Comrade Mike Ikeogwu, chairman and Comrade Patrick Ochei, secretary Delta NUJ, journalists bemoaned the loss of a complete gentleman whose passion for journalism was outstanding.
The statement also noted that Iloba, Asaba man was famous for community service.
The union condoled with the family, praying God to grant his soul eternal rest.
