The Managing Director (MD) of the Delta State Oil Producing Area and Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Chief Bashorun Askia Ogieh, has applauded the dynamic and smart leadership of the new Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Leader, Hon. Victor Egbo.
He stated this during the grand finale of the political sensitisation and familiarisation tour across the state by the youth leader and his team at Oleh, Isoko South local government areas.
The DESOPADEC boss said Isoko Nation was proud of Egbo’s achievements so far within the short period he assumed office as the new party youth leader in the state.
According to him ”our son, the state Youth Leader of the PDP, who has performed excellently well within the short period he has stayed in office has brought vibrancy, competence to the office of the state youth leader.”
He added that the office of the state Youth Leader is a directorate according to the party constitution, adding that required someone with the knowledge and youth activism to keep the youths on the same page, garner maximum number of votes and that was what Egbo stood for.
In a related development, both the party leaders of Isoko North and South passed a vote of confidence on the Atiku/Okowa ticket and all state PDP candidates in the 2023 general elections in the country, stating it was only the ticket that would rescue the nation from bad economy, insecurity and youth restiveness in Nigeria.
