A leadership tussle in the rural community of Igbide in Isoko South Local Government Areas of Delta State has led to the death of one person.
The Pond news understands that the crisis also resulted to the injury of the community leader and others.
The trouble started on Sunday and the security operatives moved in yesterday.
A source in the community said that two factions were laying claim to the leadership of the community because of the economic benefits therefrom.
It took the combined efforts of soldiers of 181 Amphibious Battalion at Oleh and the police to restore law and order in the community.
Further investigation by The Pond news revealed that the security operatives were still patrolling the community as of yesterday.
