Islamic police shave youths hair

Islamic police otherwise called Hisbah shaved youth hair in a secular country like Nigeria.
Borno state Hisbah officials shaved youth hair in cities across the state saying the hair style of the young men were violating Islamic code of dressing.
In a Facebook post by the state deputy commandant, Mallam Abdurraham Musa, the Islamic police said it embarked on public shaving because the hairstyle was against good morals and culture of Borno state.
The Hisbah leadership put the statement on Facebook:#Hisbah army in #Borno State has conducted sa’ido and care of the youths #men and #women during Eid celebration.
The army is determined to see how the youth are bringing out new inappropriate behaviours during the prayer ceremony.
In view of the government order to go home to the zoo where she shaved many youths, most of them are underage children.

The Pond News understands that Hisbah or Islamic state police is enforcing strict code of Islam in the north which forbids the sale and consumption of alcohol.
Kano state Hisbah is notorious for destroying cartoons of beer and other alcoholic beverages yet the government shares VAT money generated in other states from the sale of alcohol.
