The Presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar said a multi sectoral initiative must be put in place to end the many terrorists attack in the country.
According to Atiku, the plan should be able to evaluate how to decimate the capacity of the terrorists to operate.
The PDP standard bearer was reacting to yesterday terror attack in Bakori that claimed about 41 lives.
He described the incident as yet another episode of senseless killing of Nigerians.
He also said that Nigerians especially the leadership should be ready to do what it takes to end such attacks.
Atiku shared these thoughts via his verified Twitter account.
The PDP standard bearer sent his condolences to the families of the deceased and the people and government of Katsina state.
Atiku tweeted thus:’The terrorist attack on Bakori, where no fewer than 41 people were reportedly killed, is yet another ugly episode of the senseless killings of Nigerians on account of terror attacks.
A multi sectoral initiative that will evaluate how to decimate the capacity of these terrorists should be on the table. We must be ready to do all that it takes to put a stop to these attacks.
My condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased, including the people and government of Katsina state. I pray for the souls of the dead to rest in peace and for God to return peace to Nigeria.’
