In United Kingdom, a foremost conservative newspaper,.The Times described Tinubu as a kleptocratic known for lavish lifestyle in contrast to the frugal nature of President Muhammadu Buhari.
On the part of Cable News Network (CNN) of United States of America , the media house refused to announce Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
However ,the BBC said Tinubu won the election in controversial circumstances, adding that both PDP presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi refused to accept the result.
The world major news agencies -Reuters, Agence France Presse and Associated Press reported the presidential election without commentary.
It would be recalled that before the election, an American magazine ,Time used the Labour Party candidate Mr Peter Obi as a cover story with his picture gracing the front page.
Similarly, the Economist of London ran editorial endorsing Obi as the best candidate and hope for millions of Nigerian youths.
