The Delta State governorship candidate of the National Rescue Movement Chief America Emmanuel has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to take urgent steps so that the nation does not disintegrate under his watch
The governorship candidate added that going by the scarcity of new Naira notes and high cost of petroleum products, Nigerians were witnessing the worst time in the nation history.
America made these remarks today while speaking with reporters in Asaba , Delta State.
He therefore called on Buhari to order the CBN to flood the banks with the redesigned Naira notes.
The politician, a former national heavy weight boxing champion also called on CBN to make availability the lower denominations of one hundred and fifty Naira notes.
America noted that if the Naira notes scarcity continues, it might affect the conduct of this month national election.
It would recalled that the Supreme Court ruled on the extension of February 10 deadline to further days.
The NRM governorship candidate warned INEC not to postpone the election, adding that democracy has no place for interim government or military.
America called on his numerous supporters in Delta State to keep hope alive as the National Rescue Movement was getting more members.
