A governorship candidate on the platform of National Rescue Movement Chief America Emmanuel has called on Federal Government and CBN to carefully handle Naira scarcity for it could lead to break down of law and order.
The guber candidate said a situation where people could not get their own was very unfortunate.
America spoke today in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
He observed that currency redesign was a simple matter that should not cause hardship to the citizens.
The politician, a former national heavy weight boxing champion alleged that the scarcity of Naira notes was a ploy by the cabal in Aso Rock not to hand over power to the South.
America therefore called on President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately sack the CBN governor for embarrassing the nation.
He observed that the longer the CBN governor stays, the more Nigerians believe that Buhari was supporting him.
He also appealed to his supporters in Delta State to remain calm and remain faithful to NRM as victory was in sight.
