Fela son slaps police
The son of the legendary musician, late Fela Anikulakpo Kuti has allegedly slapped a police officer in a viral video trending online
In the said video ,Seun Kuti is seen assaulting a police officer.
The said video which appeared today, Seun Kuti, a musician was seen pointing to the police officer before pushing and slapping the said police officer.
Reacting to the incident, the Police Force headquarters Public Relations officer, Muyiwa Adejobi described it as unbelievable.
He also said that the police would soon speak on the matter.
Adejobi tweeted thus:’Seun’s Attack: The NPF will speak to this incident very soon. It is unbelievable, but such happens for people to learn lessons. We shall be back.’
However, there were mixed reactions to the incident.
A Twitter account with the name Mood Obidient said the video was edited and that Seun should not be arrested.
Said Mood Obidient:’The video looks edited just like MC Oluomo threat to the Igbos in Lagos State during the just concluded election’. Seun Kuti is free to go.’
Another Twitter account disagreed saying that Seun humiliated the police.
Tweeted Abubakar Sadiq Musa :’Seun should be arrested immediately. He humiliated not only the police officer on uniform but the entire police’.
At the time of writing this report, Seun Kuti was yet to state his own side of the story.
