Still on Okowa and EFCC

The EFCC is gradually gathering events about the Delta State derivation fund during the eight years of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the former state governor.

Two permanent secretaries (serving and retired) were recently grilled by the anti graft body about the trillion naira derivation.
Even the Accountant General was invited as regards N1.3 trillion diverted funds.

The noose is been tighten around the neck of the former governor.

Those who were jubilating about the release of Okowa from EFCC detention are dumb.

Equally those who paid solidarity visits to the former governor are hiding their faces.

The Pond News understands that if Okowa is clean, he will walk free as an innocent man.

Translation allow the EFCC and the judiciary to do their work.

The impression some of the media handlers are creating is that Okowa is being haunted because he is a member of the PDP and was vice presidential candidate.

That is the biggest lie from the pit of hell.

Let justice be served about the expenditure of the derivation funds for eight years.

Delta APC crab mentality

The crabs in a basket are sight to watch. All of them want to come to the top which is not possible.

In Delta State, the APC is a pitiable sight .

The fact that a substantive chairman was on sick leave made two acting chairmen to emerge.

One from Delta Central , the other from Delta North.

The party was in disarray and this is happening in the course of reconciliation.

The problem of APC is APC.

Here in Delta State, the party cannot abide by the minimum standard of democracy. Party primaries are rigged and same with the election of state officials.

Within the week, a party chieftain described Delta State as one of the low hanging fruits that would be plucked in 2027.

But with the disorganized state of APC, it remains a mere wish and beggars would continue to trek.

Like Oborevwori, like Tinubu

Delta State governor Sheriff Oborevwori was quoted within the week that his political fate is tied to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Oborevwori puts it this way: If Tinubu fails, I also fail. If Tinubu succeeds, I also succeed.

This is as shocking as ridiculous.

The two men belong to
different political parties, one in Abuja, the other in Asaba.

This is nothing short of political alchemy.

The country is in trouble today because of the careless statement of Tinubu hours into his presidency a la no more fuel subsidy.

Today inflation is on a supersonic speed.

The governor of Delta State should not use such person as role model.

Maybe there are certain things Oborevwori is seeing that are not visible to members of the public.
