The two main political parties angling for the presidency come 2023 are in gutter splashing political mud at each other.
The APC and Labour Party are calling each other dirty names.
The vice presidential candidate of APC Mr Kashim Shettima said that Mr Peter Obi has nothing to offer apart from dubbing others’ ideas.
Shettima also made parody of Obi middle name , Gregory, calling it ‘Gringori’ a reference to a clown in the now rested television programme ‘The New Masquerade’.
Said Shettima:’Peter “Gringori” Obi is my friend but Gringori has absolutely nothing to offer apart from dub.’
But in a swift reaction Dr Doyin Okupe, DG, Labour Party campaign organization said he was disappointed with APC vice presidential candidate, describing Shettima as a court jester.
Said Okupe: ‘We have watched with dismay and disgust the various unguarded insults and disparaging remarks passed on our presidential candidate and other candidates by the vice presidential candidate of the APC, Mr Kashim Shettima….the APC vice presidential candidate in particular has continued repeatedly to play the court jester by persistently, irresponsibly and recklessly making all sorts of derogatory comments, totally at variance with good manners and decorum’ .
