The chairman of Oshimili South LGA Dr Obi Kelvin Ezenyili has constructed ultra modern office for the councilors as legislative office.
Ezenyili disclosed this today in Asaba while conducting reporters round the complex as part of activities marking his twenty three months in office.
The council chairman office was also upgraded to meet modern standards, according to the council chairman.
The council boss said his administration could have done more but for the low revenue to the council administration.
He admitted that after paying salaries of council workers, there was little left for the administration to develop the local government areas.
Ezenyili said that his administration was able to restore electricity to Ogbogonogo markets after months of darkness.
About 240 youths empowered as Marshalls and some petty traders empowered through colloboration with a commercial Bank at zero interest.
On allocations from Abuja, the council boss lauded the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for his transparent manner of handling the funds, adding that the governor even supported the councils with funds to meet some pressing needs.
On environmental sanitation, the council chairman called on the residents to dispose waste properly and register with waste disposal companies.
Speaking later, the State Information Commissioners Mr Charles Aniagwu observed that Ezenyili has raised the bar in council administration, saying only a five star man could build a five star legislative office.
Aniagwu said that Ezenyili achievement would be a source of inspiration to others and what youth can do in position of authority.
