The leadership of Eghoro community in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State has said it would soon commence the building of some housing units in the community.
The Eghoro Community Trust Chairman, Mr. Festus Ashima, disclosed this in the company of the President of the youth wing of the community and Warri North Councillor, Honourable Kanu Duakpemi-kunu, during an inspection visit to the site of the proposed housing units.
Speaking to newsmen, Mr. Ashima said that the mega project was in line with his administration’s determination to bring the needed development to the community through provision of basic amenities.
Also speaking, Hon. Duakpemi-Kunu stated that the project, when completed, would help curtail migration of Eghoro people to the urban areas in the state.
It would be recalled that the Eghoro Trust Chairman had earlier intimated Eghoro people during the sand filling of the community some few months back on the project which he tagged, ”The New Face of Eghoro Community”.
