The people of Onuaboh community in Ndokwa East LGA of Delta State have lamented the lack of amenities in the community and called on the government to remedy the situation.
Mr Ugochukwu Anene, the community president made this plea while speaking to reporters in Onuaboh within the week.
He said that there was no hospital, electricity adding that bad roads and polluted water were the lots of his people.
Anene claimed that since the creation of Ward 3 in 1991, his community and other neighbouring communities have not experienced dividends of democracy.
The community president lamented that despite the presence of crude oil in the community, the oil companies do not care about their welfare.
He therefore called on the Delta State government and the oil companies to do the needful.
In a related development, Anene called on his people to get their voters cards as that was the only way to get the government of their choice.
