Dr. Kingsley Nze Ashibogwu , the Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education has declared the readiness of the state government to synergise with the Federation of Anioma Youth Elites Council, Northern Region Chapter, in order to achieve the Anioma’s dream.
The Anioma dream which is the promotion of cultural love and education, the Education Commissioner noted was the core of the people’s development and progress.
The Commissioner who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Anthony Nwokolobia, disclosed this information while playing host to the Council members on a courtesy visit to his office in Asaba recently.

stated that Anioma was the totality of the Igbos speaking group in Delta State and is known for being courageous and pragmatic for always standing for the truth.
“We the Anioma sons would partner with you as part of promoting the social, cultural and educational core values that would impact positively in our society,” he stated.
Responding, the President of the Federation of Anioma Youth Elites Council, Dr. Paul Nonso represented by the Traditional Prime Minister, Mr. Oranyeli Owen, said that FAYEC was an umbrella body of all sons and daughters of Anioma people from Delta North, of Delta State living and schooling in Nigeria.
He added that the Council was an open forum where the youths meet to dialogue on issues and ways of supporting themselves academically, financially and politically.
He noted that Ashibogwu had contributed to societal building in various capacities through his administrative prudence, policy implementation and his love for Deltans cannot and could not be discarded and unnoticed without the certificate of Nobel Prize for Excellence.
