Commissioner lauds private university achievements

The Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu has commended the School Management of Margaret Lawrence University for the quality of infrastructures put in place for learning.

Ashibogwu made the commendation at Ute-Ogbe in Ika North East of the state when he went on a comprehensive inspection of building projects and infrastructures in the institution.

While commending the management of the university he encouraged them to liaise with the Delta State Ministry of Higher Education to get their licence of operation in order to have a working relationship with the ministry.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Augustine Odili who conducted the Commissioner and his team round the various sites stated that the vision of the institution was to have a world class University which would kick-start by September 2023.

The Vice Chancellor commended the Commissioner for his prompt response and sued for continuous support so as to take the institution to a greater height, adding that the establishment of the school would helped to create a strong arms for community development

The Commissioner had earlier inspected the Faculty of Medical Science, the Faculty of Environmental Science, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Computing, the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences and the Senate Building.
