Bozimo cannot speak for all Ijaws – Orubebe
The Director General of APC Delta State campaign council Elder Godsday Peter Orubebe said that no single Ijaw man or woman can speak politically for all Ijaws in Delta State.
Orubebe therefore called on all Ijaws and indeed Deltans to ignore the opinion of Alaowei Broderick Bozimo.
It would be recalled that Bozimo said that all Ijaws were behind the ambition of PDP governorship candidate.
Orubebe said the views of Bozimo were laughable as he (Bozimo) was only speaking for himself.
Said Orubebe :’I make bold to say that the media report credited to Alaowei Broderick Bozimo is the height of hypocrisy and portrays the unpatriotic nature of a man at 82.’
Orubebe argued that Bozimo has no moral and political authority to make a blanket general statement on behalf of the highly respected Ijaw ethnic natonality.
Orubebe advised APC members and indeed all Deltans to ignore Bozimo statement akin to blowing the winds.
