The Delta state commissioner for information Mr Charles Aniagwu has advised corps members to be ambassadors of peace and unity as they set out to face the labor market.

Mr Charles Aniagwu, gave the advice yesterday at the send-forth ceremony organized for the 2021/2022 Batch C Stream I Corps Members at the Ministry of Information headquarters in Asaba.

The commissioner, who was represented by Functioning Permanent Secretary, Mr. Lucky Omokri said the corps members should see their passing out as a call to higher glory rather than be depressed of leaving a comfort zone.

“So many have left here with good stories about this ministry. I hope that in the course of services here, you must have learned several things that will help you in life from this ministry.

“You will agree with me that throughout the state the ministry of information is the best in terms of catering for corps members.

However, I must advise that you should see your passing out as a blessing, and key into it to advance yourselves in life,” he said.

While congratulating the outgone corps members, Aniagwu said not many who started the service year were able to finish.
“I thank God for you that served in this ministry, by the grace of God, we did not hear any story of mishap, and it is not by accident but by the mercy of God,” he added.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of souvenirs to the outgone corps members.
