Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa yesterday mourned the Plateau PDP accident victims.
In tweets, the PDP presidential candidate and his running mate said they were very sad about the road accident at the end of Plateau Central PDP campaign flag off.
Atiku said it was unfortunate for the lives lost, adding that his thoughts and prayers were with the families of the victims.
Atiku tweeted thus :’I am numbed by the tragedy in which scores of lives were lost and injured in a road accident at the end of the Plateau Central PDP campaign
flag off yesterday in Pankshin LGA. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims.’
On his part, Okowa said he was incredibly saddened about the road accident.
He therefore sent his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased.
The PDP vice presidential candidate tweeted thus:’Incredibly saddest to learn about the road accident in Plateau that led to the loss of scores of @OfficialPDPNig supporters and the injury of many more. I send my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and pray that Almighty God grants the injured a speedy recovery’.
