
Some civil rights organizations today in Asaba, the Delta State capital held a massive rally of youths and women in support of Dangote refinery in its faceoff with Labour, NUPENG and PENGASSAN with a clear message to them : Stop Sabotage.

The rally which started at Bridge Head , Onitsha took them to the Abraka area of Asaba in the busy Asaba Onitsha express way.
The civil rights organization named Partners for National Economic Progress (PANEP) said that the Dangote Refinery was a national asset that should be treasured and denounced the labour unions for frustrating the sale of refined petroleum in the country.

PANEP declared Festus Osifo, leader of PENGASSAN as public enemy.
In fiery speech delivered by Comrade Danesi, chairman of PANEP, described the labour leaders as unpatriotic and heartless people who exploit the poor masses and whose stock in trade was the importation of refined petroleum products.
The group argued that the Dangote Refinery was a blessing to the nation, adding that anybody so happy with importation of petroleum product was a public enemy and should be treated as such .
PANEP issued strong warning to PENGASSAN, NUPENG, DAPPMAN and PETROAN.
Momoh thundered : ‘Let us make it clear to PENGASSAN that they do not have the monopoly of madness. They may have gotten away with their crimes of economic sabotage and terrorism, because the security agencies have not considered the option on putting them behind bars, but the next funny move by them or their allies will be met with the severest citizens counter mass action. No group is indeed bigger than this country’.
The group expressed gratitude to Present Bola Ahmed Tinubu for supporting local refineries and ensuring steady crude oil supply to the Dangote Refinery.
