Barrister Raymos Guanah, the APC House of Assembly candidate for Patani State Constituency has charged the Toru Angiama community to be security conscious and vigilant.
Guanah made the charge during the week when paying a condolence visit to the family of a man and son murdered by suspected herdsmen recently.
Guanah said he was very sad on the untimely death of chief Denis Egbejule and his son Abednego Egbejule.
Talking to the family members, the politician pleaded with them not to resort to self help.
He assured them that government would do the needful by bringing those responsible for the act to justice.
Guanah once again kicked against open grazing of cattle.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Hon Commissioner Egbejule thanked Guanah and his team for the visit.
The APC chieftain also visited the acting Amanaowei of Toru Angiama, chief Jacob Angalabiri.
Angalabiri lamented that since the incident, a lot of people had left the town while those behind were afraid of going to farm for fear of being attacked.
Guanah was accompanied by Chief Lawrence Babodor, the APC vice chairman, Anthony Adausi, secretary, Hon Jonathan Oyiboghare, Hon Bibowei Ghomora, Ebikela Adoh and Chief Hitler Ekiokeyi .
