The Delta State Information Commissioner Mr Charles Aniagwu has advised Chief Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment to focus more on his job description rather than make comments on the activities of the state government.
Aniagwu gave this advice yesterday in Asaba while speaking to reporters.
The commissioner noted that Keyamo as a member of the APC was free to advance the fortunes of his party, adding that such comments should be made with facts on the ground.
Aniagwu reminded the Minister that Delta State universities are in full sessions whereas those of the federal government are shut.
The commissioner stated that the concern of Keyamo should be on how to resolve the ASUU strike.
Said Aniagwu :’We need to remind Festus Keyamo that in Delta, our universities are working while the ones that belong to the Federal Government are still at home. We remind Keyamo that our children who are supposed to be in school are still at home and we urge him to work seriously with his senior colleague to ensure that the issues raised by ASUU are resolved as soon as possible’.
