A dangerous inter communal crisis erupted yesterday between Anaku and Omor communities in Ayamelum LGA of Anambra state.
Reports reaching The Pond News confirmed that more than five people are feared dead in the crisis.
No reason has been explained for the present crisis but The Pond News understands that there has been lingering crisis between the two neighbouring communities.
There is heavy security presence in the areas to prevent further anarchy and break down of law and order.
Spokesman for Anambra State Police. Command ,DSP Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the crisis, adding that a heavy deployment of a joint task force team made of the police and military was already patrolling the affected communities.
