The fortunes of African countries may change for the better with the good news coming from African Development Bank.
The African Development Fund has raised 8.9billion dollars for the development of the continent.
The President of African Development Bank Dr Akinwumi Adesina disclosed this today via his verified Twitter account.
Adesina said this was the first the bank was achieving that feat in fifty years.
He said the achievement was possible because of the team working with him.
The Pond News understands that most African nations can now access the money for development.
Adesina tweeted thus:’With my world class team. We just raised $8.9 billion for the African Development Fund(ADF).We set a record, the highest in 50 years since the Fund was established! Well done team!! Hurrah!!!’
