The African Democratic Congress is owned by the masses as no single individual, no matter how wealthy is allowed to dominate in the registration of members.

This assurance was given today in Asaba, Delta State capital at ADC secretariat by Prof Festus Arunaye, a national member of the ADC Membership Revalidation, Mobilization and Registration Committee while inaugurating the Delta state chapter of the committee headed by Dr Leo Ebinum.

Arunaye disclosed that members are to pay a token of five hundred Naira as registration fee, adding that the registration is both electronic and physical.
He charged the ADC members to take the exercise very serious as that would determine the future of the party in the state.

He also stated that the projected members of the party would be about 2.3m people after the registration exercise.
Answering a reporter question, he said that there is no faction of the party in the state as the party is one and united.
Arunaye also mentioned that at the national level, the party was excited with the coming on board of Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate.
On the presidential primaries, he said that it would be thrown open for all, adding that at the end of the day, the party would rally round the presidential flag bearer.

At the strategic stakeholders meeting, ADC party registration booklets, ADC flag, ADC crested face caps and Nigerian flag were presented to the local government areas co-ordinators by a member of the transition committee, Barrister George Timinimi for the registration of members across the state.
