The second Niger Bridge that links Asaba and Onitsha will be opened for use next week.
The federal government has decided to open the bridge on December 15 and shall remain so till January 15 2023.
This gesture though temporarily shall ease the flow of traffic during the Yuletide period.

In a post today, Keyamo congratulated the Igbos and other Nigerians for the development.
Keyamo tweeted thus:’Congratulations to our Eastern brothers and sisters and to all Nigerians as the Federal Government will temporarily open the 2nd Niger Bridge from 15th of December, 2022 to 15th of January, 2023 to ease traffic during the Yuletide period. Let’s all observe speed limits, please.:
