The current wave of defections from PDP to APC shall not affect Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027.
This sentiment was shared today in Asaba by a leading politician and chairman of Delta State Inter Party Relations Mr Emmanuel America while speaking to reporters.
The politician argued that the many projects of the governor in the three senatorial districts shall make Deltans give him a second term.
America, National Rescue Movement Guber candidate in 2023 election said that Oborevwori political fame and stature has rose beyond party lines.
He therefore advised the governor not to be distracted by these defections rather he should concentrate on the provision of legacy projects to the electorate.
America also praised the empowerment scheme of the government which has removed people from joblessness and poverty.
