President Muhammadu Buhari has warned security agencies not to be invovled in politics.
He also said that they must remain neutral and should not compromise the democratic process.
The Nigerian leader issued this warning today via his verified Twitter account.
Buhari said that the security agencies should not do anything that will bring dusrepute to Nigeria.
Buhari tweeted thus :’I have made it clear to the security agencies that they have a responsibility to remain apolitical at all times. Under no circumstances should they get involved in anything that could compromise the democratic process, or bring disrepute to their institutions and to Nigeria. ‘
